RPA Membership Qualifications
RPAA Membership requires a range of skills and education, encouraging applications from qualified women and men. The RPAA membership requires an approved application, application fee, annual membership fee, transcript of post-secondary education and a complete resume with references.
- The applicant is required to have a minimum of two years work experience in accounting along with the educational requirement with a minimum mark of 65% or higher on all required courses.
- As a member, you will be required to maintain a CPE level of 30 credits per year and all members must have or be covered by Errors & Omissions insurance.
The RPAA encourages students of accounting to join the Association as an Student Member. Individuals who have obtained the educational qualifications but lack the required work experience may join the Association as an Student Member.
To attain certification the following courses must have been completed at a recognized post-secondary institution with a minimum mark of no less than sixty percent (60%) and a combined average of all courses of no less than sixty-five percent (65%), the courses being:
